Social and Environmental responsibility

The company RTGH SUPER FOODS CIA. LTDA., the parent company of Beer Bites, has always been committed to the environment and society in general. On October 21st, 2022, we had the opportunity to visit the Huaorani community in Yasuní, Ecuador. We were at the intercultural bilingual-ika community educational center of the Güiyero community, where we exchanged knowledge with the community and gave a practical talk titled “Comprehensive Solid Waste Management in the Community.”

The Huaorani community is known for its deep relationship with nature and its commitment to preserving the environment. During our visit, we explained the importance of separating waste and using organic matter as compost or fertilizer for agriculture. With the support of PhD. Michael Ayala, a composting area was created at the school, and a computer was donated which will help the children acquire knowledge in technology and education.

At RTGH SUPER FOODS CIA. LTDA., we are constantly looking for ways to implement sustainable practices in our daily operations. This experience was very gratifying as it allowed us to value the environment even more, and the need we have to teach the importance of caring for the planet with small actions such as waste management. In addition, we are committed to continuing to collaborate with the Huaorani community and supporting sustainability in the future.
